How to play

Movement
  • Men move orthogonally — forward and sideways — one square at a time.
  • Kings are "flying": they move and capture across any number of empty squares along a line.
Captures
  • Captures are made orthogonally, jumping over an adjacent enemy piece.
  • Men may capture forward only.
  • Men are allowed to capture kings.
  • Capturing is mandatory, and you must take the sequence that captures the most pieces.
  • Each captured piece is removed from the board immediately, which can open up further captures in the same sequence.
  • Within a multi-capture you may continue straight or turn 90°, but never reverse 180° between two jumps.
Promotion
  • A man that crosses the last row mid-capture stays a man and keeps capturing; it promotes only if the move ends on the last row.
  • If a player is left with a single man against the opponent's lone king, the king's side is declared the winner.
